The Catholic Appeal is the annual campaign to support the central ministries of the Archdiocese who offer important expertise and resources to parishes and schools.  Your support of the Catholic Appeal is the most effective way our parish community can join together in the Church's universal work to care for our neighbors.

Saint Matthew supports the work of the Central Ministries of the Archdiocese, who have provided invaluable aid to our parish. These include real estate and engineering consultants (Property Management), providing the assesments of all our buildings; support including financial expertise and operations management (Parish Services, Human Resources); Faith Formation, Adult Faith Formation, and RCIA (Divine Worship); and more. 

The Catholic Appeal also supports essential ministries that serve thousands of people across the Archdiocese (not just Catholics), who need support and care. The Catholic Church in Boston has been providing pastoral and charitable assistance for over 200 years.
