The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the sacraments of Christian initiation in which the one who is confirmed (confirmandi) receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit through anointing with oils by the bishop, bringing the person deeper into communion with the Church.
Bishop Robert Hennessey, conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation on September 22 and September 23 to confirmandi at St. Matthew Parish.
Please keep them in your prayers. Our parish is very proud of all our teens and young adults. We look forward to continuing the journey with these young people as they grow in their faith and their relationship with God!
