The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, serves the Church and their neighbor on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries.
The Legion of Mary has been active in the U.S since 1931 and was endorsed by Vatican II and approved by the last 6 Popes. The Legion sees as its priority the spiritual and social welfare of each individual. Members participate in the life of the parish by supporting the spiritual needs of the parish community.
