On Friday evenings during Lent, beginning at 6PM (with the exception of Good Friday), the Parish will once again host a simple, meatless "Soup Supper", consisting of a variety of soups, macaroni and cheese, bread and butter, a beverage, and more. A different ministry of the Parish will prepare the meal each week.
We will pray the Stations of the Cross in St. Andrew Church, beginning at 6PM, followed by our meal downstairs in Fr. Wilson Hall.April 4th, is the only exception, where the Novena of the Sacred Heart will be held in place of the Stations, with sup and fellowship still to follow.
The Knights of Columbus will be hosting the first evening and leading us in prayer, followed in subsequent weeks by Saint Vincent dePaul and the Homebound Ministers, the Saint Matthew Women's Club and the Courageous Catholic Women, the staff of St. Matthew, and the Parish Pastoral & Finance Councils and Building Committees.
While there is no charge for the meal, families who would like to make an offering for these groups may do so in the basket provided that evening.
