The Strange Season of Christmas – Bible Study

Led by Father Hal

Begins Thursday, February 27 at 7pm in St. Theresa’s Hall

The Church’s season of Christmas is familiar to those who celebrate it, but even for many Catholics, awareness of its vast importance is only in passing. We are distracted elsewhere, and it is too easy to lose sight of Jesus Christ and His birth. However, a closer look at this fleeting season shows us both the immense weight of the Nativity of Our Lord, and reveals the strange way in which the Church chooses to celebrate the arrival of the Savior.

Join us during Lent for a look at how the Catholic Church lives and reveals the mystery of Christ’s coming among us, through the Scriptures proclaimed during this strange but “most wonderful time of the year.”

This six-week session takes place on Thursday evenings from February 27– April 2 at 7pm in St. Theresa Parish Hall. Bring your own Bible, or borrow one of ours. We look forward to seeing you there!
